Missions involve different kinds of ventures, in which preachers of the Gospel are sent by the Church to go all over the world to accomplish the Christ’s injunction: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." The missionaries undertake the effort of evangelization and forming of the Church among nations and social groups who do not believe in Jesus Christ. From the seed of the word of the Lord should arise new local Churches, equipped with their own strengths and their own maturity.
